Spectators will view some of the most difficult dives attempted in the sport while experiencing the same caliber of athleticism and thrill that will be discovered this summer in Athens.
View the exhilaration of aerial acrobatics overhead as you encounter the majesty of the 2004 Olympic Team Members. Watch Laura Wilkinson, 2000 Olympic Platform Gold Medalist, as she portrays her commitment to excellence; feel the passion and strength demonstrated by Kimiko Soldati; the energy and skill of Troy and Justin Demais; and the dynamism of Justin Wilcox.
A special appearance by some of the worlds’ top-notch stunt diving clowns will take place. That’s right, clowns! They will perform wild and crazy, on the edge of your seat, dives that will keep you laughing and leave you in complete awe.
Finally, witness the force that has put Midland, TX on the map. Members of the nationally ranked COM Aquatic’s diving team will reveal the leading talent that exists within our hometown. Featured will be Erin Savas, the youngest diver to ever compete in U.S. Olympic Trials and finish in the top ten; Ashley Beal, Carly Smith, Petie Staub, and Matt Culbertson – our 2004 nationally ranked competitive divers. It is not only an honor, but also a duty to welcome our Olympians home to the United States. Furthermore, it is a privilege to be the only city in our country picked to host this event. Let’s salute our champions as they return from Athens. It will truly be an American moment you will not want to miss.
