John Proctor :: Head Coach

It was in Louisville, Kentucky that John began his relatively late start in the sport of diving at twelve years old. It was not until he was sixteen however that he discovered a junior Olympic quality program. It was at that point that he truly became serious about his athletic endeavors. After three years of hard work and a great coach to help move him along, he moved up the junior national circuit quickly. He received an athletic scholarship to Auburn University in 1991. He dove for nearly three years at Auburn, achieving top honors at the SEC championships all years and receiving All-American status at the NCAA championships in his third year. During that same year, an injury to the knee ended his career as an athlete, but started his career as a coach.

Over the last six years he has worked with Olympians, national champions, world class athletes and coaches from around the globe. He has learned and used techniques from some of the greatest minds in the sport and has achieved great results on both the junior and senior national level.
